Beware of WhatsApp, and Text Spam Messages — BuyUcoin

Spam Message

Some of our users have received WhatsApp, and text messages stating that

“Our fund team has launched a welfare plan for selected BuyUcoin users, the annual salary of one million global partners plan. Every lucky user of BuyUcoin selected has the opportunity to participate in this benefit plan.”

It is also getting redirected to a WhatsApp group to join. Kindly, note that BuyUcoin is not doing this and this news is a complete scam. So do not join any groups, we will try to resolve this issue at the earliest.

BuyUcoin only has a telegram group and it does not have any WhatsApp group for users. Any new plan from BuyUcoin will be informed to the users only through the mail, Twitter, and telegram from the official BuyUcoin ID.

How To Hide Your Phone Number In Telegram?

It is a simple system that maintains a semblance of privacy. As long as you do not add the person’s number to your phone contacts, all they will see is your Telegram username. There is, however, a way to hide your phone number on Telegram. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Open Telegram and tap Settings located in the lower left-hand corner

2. Tap Privacy and Security

3. Tap on Phone number

4. Tap either My Contacts (your contacts will see your phone number) or Nobody (no one will see your phone number)

This will make it so that no one can see your phone number through the app. Keep in mind, though, that your phone number will still be attached to your account.
