In a tweet on October 18, Alex Svanevik, CEO of the blockchain analytics platform Nansen, disclosed that FTX had transferred 50K ETH worth $65 Million to the main wallet of the insolvent cryptocurrency lender Voyager Digital. The transfer of funds is probably connected to the $1.4 billion asset purchase, which also included a further $51 million cash payment and $60 million in incentives and earnouts.
However, Texas officials are currently looking into FTX Trading, FTX US, and its management, including co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried. The asset purchase agreement between Voyager Digital and FTX US will be presented to the US for approval. On October 19, the Southern District of New York Bankruptcy Court will hear the case.
