Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux operating system, criticized cryptocurrencies in a recent forum post, calling them “a great vehicle for scams.” He also referred to the functioning of cryptocurrencies as Ponzi schemes. Interestingly, Torvalds was once rumored to be the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, due to an alleged name change in the Linux Kernel. He added that he doesn’t believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, or the Easter Bunny.
